We strongly believe that we have a responsibility to protect and respect our environment, and operating our business ethically and sustainably is one of the ways we can fulfill this belief. Good quality pastry begins with ingredients raised with care, and we commit to using ingredients from suppliers with high animal welfare standards such as organic free range eggs from Vital Farms and local butter from Clover Farms. We also take into account the carbon footprint of our ingredients and select local & organic fruits as much as possible.

Our packaging does not contain any plastic or cellophane. Boxes are uncoated, use 25-30% less fiber material, and are made from SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative) lumber, making it 100% curbside compostable (no special facilities required)! Information placards and box sleeves are made from recycled paper and FSC certified paper respectively, and stickers are made from 100% post-consumer material and coated with a non-toxic adhesive. With the exception of the parchment paper lining (which we’re still working on for an alternative), our packaging is 100% recyclable. Please help us protect the environment by composting and recycling.
