Ordering Information & Frequently Asked Questions

DELIVERY INFORMATION

For customers who live in gated communities, we would greatly appreciate your timely communication in order to enter your neighborhood for dropoff. Cynthia will text you upon arrival. For customers who live in apartment complexes that require keycode access to enter, orders will be dropped off at the lobby (ground floor) since parking can be quite difficult to find, especially in downtown areas. Cynthia will text you when close to arrival.

 

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery for Concord, Pleasant Hill, and Walnut Creek is $2. Delivery for all other cities is $5.

 

When will my order arrive?

Delivery routes are planned after all pre-orders are made. The estimated delivery window will be from 12pm-4pm, and depending on the number of locations and types of residences (apartment complexes, gated communities etc) there are on any given weekend, delivery times will vary. Cynthia can text you on Saturday morning to give a better estimate.

 

Can you deliver to a city that’s not listed in the delivery schedule? It’s close to the listed delivery cities.

In order to ensure that the pastries can arrive in their best condition and as fresh as possible (i.e., sit in the shortest car ride possible) for the first to the last customer on the route, cities closest to each other are chosen and announced at the top of the Shop page. We’re unable to add additional cities for that reason and thank you for your understanding. Please feel free to reach out to Cynthia by email and she’ll try her best to add your city to the future delivery routes.

 

Can I meet you somewhere to pick up my order since you’re not delivering to my city? When will you offer pick-up again?

 

For the protection of all customers, only contactless deliveries are being offered at the moment. Until most of the Bay Area enters the orange/yellow tiers, in person pick-up will not be available.

When are pre-orders open?

Pre-orders open 1 week in advance on Sunday for delivery to a different part of the Bay Area the following Saturday. Currently, we’re unable to provide pre-orders 2-3 weeks ahead for a different area.

 

I want to add onto my order, but I already checked out. What can I do?

Can I do a custom order?

At the moment, custom pastry orders are not available. We hope to add capacity in the near future to be able to accommodate custom orders.

 

Can I cancel my order?

If you wish to cancel your order and be eligible for a full refund, it must be done so by Thursday 12pm. Most pastries are multi-day building processes (batters need to rest in fridge overnight, jams are made, nougatine needs to freeze etc), so your order is being worked on before Saturday. We thank you for your understanding.
